Mandate
Regulatory Ref. art.1703 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.
Agreement by which one party (agent) undertakes to perform one or more legal actions on behalf (= in the interest) of the other (principal). The agent undertakes to carry out legal actions on behalf of the principle, unlike other types of agreements, such as the work contract, where a party undertakes to carry out material activities. The mandate can be stipulated to perform one or more specific acts (special mandate) or all legal actions in the interests of the principal (general mandate). it is also possible that the mandate is stipulated in the interest of the agent, in this case it cannot be revoked by the principal.
